KENYA TANZANIA SAFARI 1

Day 1 of the safari
Nairobi –MASAI MARA 5 ½hrs - 265hrs:

• 0800hrs- After breakfast pick up from your hotel and drive to Masai Mara through the Great Rift Valley and a cross the Masai land to arrive at the Mara sopa safari lodge in time for lunch.

After lunch you will relax before proceeding for the afternoon safari drive, around this world famous game reserve which is a home to the big game like elephants, black rhino, buffalos, lions, leopards and many others. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 02 OF THE SAFARI
Day in the Mara
 Experience of magical Masai Mara: this world famous Masai Mara Game (Wildlife) Reserve is Kenyas number one park and is always on every tourists Must see list. Full of life with various types of animals and birds, Masai Mara crowns the climax of every safari in Kenya. Its rolling grasslands and acacia savannah have time and again been captured on film with the movie Out Of Africa being the most famous.  Masai Mara is home to the Big Five (Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and Rhino) and over 450 bird species.  Apart from the big five, the Masai Mara is most famous for the spectacular annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra, gazelle etc from the Serengeti in northern Tanzania crossing the Mara River into Kenya in search of fresh feeding grounds, which takes place in late July or August.  During this crossing, hundreds of animals are swept away by the first moving Mara River and others are killed by the ferocious African Crocodiles.  This crossing gives true meaning to the phrase Survival of the fittest.

DAY 03

Masai Mara- Lake Nakuru 6 HRS- 320KMS 

• 0730hrs- After breakfast load up and drive to Lake Nakuru National park for lunch at lake nakuru safari lodge , later in the evening you will have a safari drive that will take you to the shores of the Lake where you will see the flamingos and other water birds, both black and white rhinos are found in this national park, the acacia forest makes the park a good hide out for leopards and lion

You will return to the safari lodge for dinner and overnight
DAY 04 of the safari

LAKE NAKURU -AMBOSELI 5 ½hrs 410 KMS

• 0800hrs- after breakfast you will load up and drive to Amboseli national park through the Nairobi city for lunch and drive through the Namanga town at the Kenya / Tanzania board and with safari drive en rout you will check inn at the senera safari lode Later in the after noon for dinner and over night.

 Amboseli National Park, has an altitude of about 1200m 1400m and beautifully situated beneath the foot of Africas highest mountain (5895m), the majestic snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Amboseli has Large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety of other animals and birds all of which are attracted to this park due to its permanent supply of water that filters through the volcanic rock from Mt. Kilimanjaro melting snow. The park is also home to the Masai people, those tall, brave, and proud nomads who live in close harmony with the environment and the wildlife that surrounds them.  Amboseli was the location around which such famous writers like Sir Ernest Hemingway and Robert Ruark tailored their stories of big game hunting in the wilds of Africa

DAY 05
Another day in this national park with morning and afternoon safari drive not only gives you a change to see the wild life and the Highest mountain in Africa but also visit the community that lives near the park and who will explain how they have lived with the wildlife for years once you visit their villages
All meals and accommodation at the serena safari lodge

DAY 06

AMBOSELI - L. Manyara
0730HRS After breakfast load up and drive to Arusha in Tanzania for lunch , arrive Namanga border town at 9000 hrs. After immigration formalities, drive to Arusha for lunch at impala hotel. Drive to L. Manyara National Park Tanzania famed for its abundant bird life, tree climbing Lions and large herds of Elephants for after noon safari drive. Dinner and overnight at the serena safari Lodge.

 DAY 07
 L. Manyara - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast proceed to Ngorongoro crater in time for lunch at ngorongoro sopa safari lodge. Ngorongoro cater is one of the wonders of the world's so nicknamed by many visitors on their firs visit. The Ngorongoro conservation Area, 5184 sq. kilometers has three other small craters- Oldeani, Olmoti and Empakaai to the north and contains animal population of varied species. It was once a volcanic mountain which with tremendous force, blew and folded to form a Calders. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 08
 Ngorngoro - Tarangire
After breakfast, depart Ngorongoro for Tarangire arriving in time for Lunch. After noon safari drive in the Tarangire Park, one of the most beautiful parks in Tanzania in regard to animal concentration and abundance. Big herds of animals move from Ngorongoro , Manyara and surrounding game reserves to fetch water and food as Tarangire is always full of vegetation. Dinner and overnight at the Taranire safari Lodge.
 DAY 09
Tarangire - Nairobi
After breakfast, drive to Arusha via Mto wa Mbu village for shopping of the Makonde carvings and other souvenirs. After lunch in Arusha drive to Nairobi via Namanga border town, arriving early evening.

KENYA TANZANIA SAFARI 2

 DAY 01 OF THE SAFARI
Nairobi/Tree lodge 3hrs - 190kms:
0800hrs- pickup and drive to Aberdare national park through the Kikuyu land to Nyeri town where you will check inn at the Aberdare country club or outs pan for lunch, later after lunch you will be transferred to the tree Safarilodge for dinner and over night
These tree lodges are built next to water holes where the animals come to drink. The management of these lodges have made different calls for different animals so that each time animal visits the water hole the call is made to alert you, hence you can come to view the animals from the balconies.
(Only over night bags are allowed children below the age of 7 years are not allowed unless on specified children's night) 

DAY 02
     Aberdare/Nakuru 2½hrs -160 kms:
0800hrs-After breakfast you will be transferred to Aberdare /outspan where you will load you and to lake Nakuru national park, a cross the equator and through the Thomson fall the biggest water fall and down the Great Rift Valley to arrive at the sarova lion hill safari lodge for lunch,
After lunch you will relax till time for the afternoon safari drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Lake Nakuru is a home to lots wildlife and some of the big five includes Rhino, buffalos, lions and leopards

DAY 03 OF THE SAFARI
LAKE NAKURU – AMBOSELI 5 ½hrs – 410 KMS

Depart form serena safari lodge at 0800 hrs.for Tanzania to arrive at Namanga border at 1000 hrs. After immigration formalities, drive to Arusha for lunch at impala hotel. Afternoon safari drive at L. Manyara National Park Tanzania famed for its abundant bird life, tree climbing Lions and large herds of Elephants for after noon game viewing. Dinner and overnight at lake manyara safari Lodge

 DAY 06 OF THE SAFARI
 L. Manyara - Ngorongoro Crater

DAY 07 OF THE SAFARI
 Ngorongoro - Serengeti
Depart after breakfast Safari to srengeti, but first stop at Olduvai Gorge for a visit to the museum. Lunch at the Gorge Museum, After Lunch; visit various sites of the Gorge to see where the remains of the pre- historic man were discovered by the famous archeologist Dr. L. S. B. Leakey. Visit an old Masai homestead on the way. Proceed to Serengeti plains past Serenora and on to Lobo, with afternoon safari drive, arriving at your safari lodge for a late evening. Dinner and overnight at the safari Lodge.

 DAY 08 OF THE SAFARI
 Serengeti
Leave Lobo for Ndutu with safari drive in Serengeti and around Ndutu woodlands to locate Leopards and numerous plains games as well as Cheetahs, common species here. Overnight at the safari Lodge.
DAY 09
 Serengeti - Nairobi
After breakfast, with brief safari drive on your way out of Serengeti drive to Arusha via Mto wa Mbu Village for shopping of Makonde Carvings and - other souvenirs. Lunch at Arusha, Proceed back to Nairobi via Namanga border arriving early evening.
