NATIONAL MUSEUM
A 2 hour expedition in Nairobi National Museum and snake park will enable you to come into contact with Kenya's rich ethnological, pale onthropological and archeological past. It is in this museum where thousands of pieces of historical evidence are preserved. There is also a section featuring beautiful birds of Kenya as well as a cultural and Art gallery.

GIRAFFE CENTRE
Take tea/ coffee with the Giraffes. This is the only center in Africa where you have a chance to feed the rare Rothschild Giraffe with your own bare hands. This experience could be just one in a lifetime. There are also warthogs and beautiful birds in the center. Later, shop for giraffe artifacts at the center.

KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM
At the foot of the Ngong hills, now known as Karen
is the home of Karen Blixen Isaak Diensen the famous
author whose memoirs were immortalized in the popular film
Out of Africa. It is now preserved as a museum where visitors
can travel back in time and gain an insight into the life
of this remarkable and courageous woman. Furniture, artifacts,
and photographs from her days as a pioneer coffee farmer are
on display. There is a guided tour around the farmhouse.

DEPHNE SHELDRICK ORPHANAGE
This orphanage is located at the edge of the Nairobi National Park. The pioneers of this orphanage are Mr& Mrs Dephne Sheldrick. The orphanage caters for Elephants orphans rescued/salvaged from every corner of the republic. The elephants are then released back into their Natural habitat when their condition stabilizes. Meet the team in charge of this project.

BOMAS OF KENYA
Bomas is situated in the Nairobi suburbs of langata. A Boma
is a traditional homestead. They are set as a museum to represent
Kenyas 40 ethnic groups and to express their cultures and
traditions. Programmes based on traditional dances of the
different tribes are presented with brilliant performances.
The dancers finish with a lively display of acrobatics and
tumbling. The shows begin at 14.30hrs.

CARNIVORE EXPERIENCE
A Brazilian style restaurant that offers a menu famous for exotic charcoal grilled meat including wild game such as crocodile, zebra, eland and wildebeest in addition to succulent lamb, beef, chicken and pork dishes all roasted on skewers over a huge wood fire. A must for meat lovers!
Carnivore is one of the most famous restaurants in Nairobi and among the top 50 best restaurants in the world. Lunch is served from 12:30 pm, while dinner is from 7pm. This makes it an ideal place for a welcome or a farewell meal.

NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK
AREA 117 Sq Km and Distance from city: 8Km (15mins by road). Nairobi National Park is the closest park from Nairobi, a big cosmopolitan city. It is the oldest of Kenya’s National Parks gazetted in 1946.
It is a glorious stretch of savannah that is set against the dramatic skyline of Nairobi and hence becomes the only Natural game protection area in the world that is closest to a city. Over a hundred species of mammals mainly plains game have been recorded in this park.
It is in this park where the biggest animal orphanage is located, caring for injured and orphaned animals from any part of the country; the animals are then released back into the Wild when they fully recover.
The park is ideal for ornithological safaris as it hosts 400 species of birdlife. A safari walk is very popular as it enables visitors to be in touch with nature a breath away from the city.
Accommodation is available in all classes of hotels in the City picnic sites and campsites are several inside the park.
